Introducing… Kelsey Smith

Kelsey Smith

My name is Kelsey Smith. I am from Paducah, Kentucky, graduated from Lone Oak High School and will attend San Francisco State University in the fall. I plan on majoring in journalism and minoring in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies. My interests outside of writing and the Middle East include reading, cycling, and sidewalk chalking. I also love strawberries, the Misfits, and having needles jabbed into my side (tattoos).

While at EIU’s journalism workshop, I hope to gain a more comprehensive knowledge of modern journalism and its inner workings.
